GORDONS BAY HOUSE

The house sits on the cliff edge above Gordons Bay on Sydney’s east. This

project was for a significant reconstruction of an existing house with only the

side walls remaining. The client’s required the inclusion of a curved roof and

the resulting design is two heavy masonry boxes with a lightweight curved

roof spanning between them that contains the circulation spaces.

The house broke the sale price record for Gordons Bay when it was sold in 2017.
